Sherr & Vaughn, PLLC Announces Merger

Sherr & Vaughn, PLLC is pleased to announce we have joined forces with the Washington, D.C. intellectual property boutique firm Jiang & Hao, LLP.  Veteran patent attorney Lenny R. Jiang will join Sherr & Vaughn as a partner.  Jiang is a former Patent Examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and also having worked at the USPTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (BPAI).  He received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (“Virginia Tech”).

The addition of Jiang will increase Sherr & Vaughn's expertise in patent prosecution, particularly in technologies such as telecommunication components/networks/equipment, flat panel displays, optics, memory devices, semiconductors, printers and imaging systems.

Todd A. Vaughn was selected by the USPTO's Supervisory Patent Examiner and Classifiers Organization (SPECO) to participate in a roundtable panel discussion on USPTO interview practice. Other panelists were Nick Godici (former USPTO Commissioner of Patents) and Esther Kepplinger (former USPTO Deputy Commissioner for Patent Operations).
